Advertising Creative by Jeffree Benet. A fashion photographer who started in advertising as a Graphic Designer and Copy Writer for Guess Jeans, his career path took him to roles as Creative Directors at McCann Erickson and JWT working for a range of clients from Maestro-Cirrus, Martini, Maybelline, Gillette, Maggi foods, Rolex, HSBC and Nescafe. Moving to Singapore he began working as Group Creative Head for the marketing department of the NKF before launching a local free city magazine. His work has been featured in publications ranging from Ad Age to Art Direction to Archive and the California Communication Arts Annual, as well as Marketing Magazine. In addition, Jeffree has considerable experience as a publisher and producer of over 157 retail consumer publications and the Charles David Footwear campaign won Best in Print at the One Show, (although he would rather produce advertising communications that get the job done to the customer's delight, than win awards in trade shows). Crocodille Sandwich Flash Site PDF Print E-mail

(above; simple design)

Crocodille Sandwiches are one of the best makers of pre-made sandwiches in the Visegrad region, found everywhere from petrol stations to hospital canteens. Their previous positioning was "Don't do this at home" showing animations of characters doing risky things; playing with snakes, swimming in lightning storms, etc.

This new strategy is more about making the sandwiches and the ingredients the hero, and less on the "it won't kill you" positioning. There is a viral video cooking show called "Meet the Potatoes" which shows animated ingredients as characters.

Taking these characters and applying them to the site, visitors can learn all about the fresh ingredients in the full range of over 24 sandwiches. In concept one...

FRAME 1: A string of number plates slides out from position 24 to position 1, and the headline "However you like your sandwich, we've got your number!" headline appears prominently. A featured sandwich with a magnified button on the selector shows, with a click button.

On the background is a light plug, saying "POZOR" or "CAUTION"

USER CLICKS Sandwich

NOTE: After sandwich pops out, "click here" disappears.

FRAME 2: Sandwich pops on the landscape, looking fresh and delicious. Headline reduces in size and takes it's less prominent position, making room in the scene for the action.

FRAME 3: Mr. Pickle walks out, and looks at the sandwich, thinking about it.

FRAME 4: Mr. Pickle pushes the sandwich to the left.

FRAME 5: As the sandwich is pushed to the left, a info panel appears from the right.

FRAME 6: It is an information panel about the sandwich, carried on a pole by Mr. Tomato, who plants the pole in the sandwich. Mr. Pickle leans back on the sandwich to relax.

USER CLICKS Light plug

FRAME 1: Upon clicking, there is a frying electric sound and you hear shuffling feet movement and more eyes appear into the scene, cartoon eyes, blinking in the dark. A light switch rests in the logo home position.

FRAME 1: All or a lot of the ingredient characters are there, hanging out.

NOTE: Click on a character, and the sandwich numbers which contain that ingredient change color, giving site users an intuitive way to explore sandwiches which have their favorite ingredient.

NOTE: "Who should star on our next sandwich label?" is a slider, to show all the characters.

NOTE: EAT MORE / GIVE MORE button alternates, linking to a page about their corporate philanthropy.

SCENE: 24 variations of Crocodilles convey along the left hand side of the screen, moved along by a chain, at the top of the chain is the Crocodille logo, flip rotating as the chain goes into it, showing each of the brand colours.

Standing there is Mr. Pickle, next to a lever, and an empty plate, which says "Unleash your Crocodille (click sandwiches on left)"

User clicks the sandwich, and Mr. Pickle pulls a lever, releasing the sandwich onto the plate.

A pop-behind window appears behind the sandwich, showing the sandwich description, while hovering below the sandwich are more info buttons for the users to click to bring up pop up windows with the relevant information.

Mr. Potato and the "Meet the Potatoes" with a player button resides there in the back ground, ready to be played. There is a drop down flash menu, minimising the amount of menu items on the front page.
